Francesca diMattio in Bloom
I'm working too much to make blooms right now.
So thank god people like Francesca diMattio are on the ball.
She's a NYC artist, and this is just one example from a show called Table Setting and Flower Arranging.
If you can blag off work for a few seconds, hang out with her.

Yucca in Bloom
Onomatopoeia is one of my favourite words, because not only does it mean to
imitate or suggest the source of the sound that it describes, I think it also does sound like what it describes.
But what about words that describe what they describe, like orange? What are they called?
Whatever the answer, Yucca flowers are definitely not one of them. They are pretty much the opposite of Yuck. Is there a word for that?
This is what a Yucca looks like when you bring it home. Unfortunately I'm not rich enough to own a vase that can hold it. So I had to chop it up. Sorry Yucca!

Jil Sander in Bloom
Incredible arrangements for the AW12 Jil Sander's show by Mark Colle. Colle was inspired by the colours in the fabrics, each arrangement following a different print from the collection.
They are so wild and chaotic, but containing them in the perspex gives them a refined and modern look. Extraordinary!
